I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
