Our Purpose Consists of Solely Eliminating' - The Way Sudan's Vicious Militia Perpetrated a Massacre

Warning: This Account Presents Explicit Descriptions of Executions.

Militiamen laugh as they travel on the bed of a pick-up truck, hurrying alongside a line of nine corpses and heading facing the descending Sudanese sunset.

"Observe this extensive work. See this instance of genocide," one exclaims.

The fighter smiles as he directs the camera on himself and his fellow fighters, their paramilitary insignia clearly shown: "The victims are all going to die in this manner."

The combatants are exulting in a massacre that humanitarian officials believe killed in excess of 2,000 individuals in the Sudan's urban center of the Darfur city last month.

An Urban Center Isolated from the Outside

Having held the urban area under blockade for almost two years, from August the RSF moved to strengthen its position and prevent access for the surviving inhabitants.

Orbital photography reveal that forces commenced to erect a enormous berm - a built-up earthen wall - surrounding the edges of el-Fasher, closing roads and preventing aid.

While the blockade escalated, seventy-eight people were killed in an RSF attack on a religious building on September 19th, while the UN stated fifty-three further were murdered in aerial and heavy weapon attacks on a displacement camp in the autumn.

Disturbing Video Shows Defenseless Civilians Gunned Down

By sunrise on 26 October the paramilitary force conquered the remaining army defenses and took control of the primary compound in the community, the command center of the Military Unit, as the government forces pulled back.

Perhaps the most graphic footage to emerge and examined revealed the aftermath of a mass killing at a educational facility on the western side of the urban area, where scores lifeless forms were observed spread over the area.

A senior man wearing a traditional garment remained isolated surrounded by the bodies. The man looked to glance as a combatant armed with a rifle moved descending the staircase facing the individual. lifting his weapon, the fighter discharged a solitary bullet at the individual, who collapsed to the ground motionless.

"For what reason is this individual yet breathing," another fighter exclaimed. "Execute this one."

Space-based imagery captured on late October seemed to verify that executions were also carried out on the thoroughfares of al-Fashir, based on a report released by the academic research center.

A key eyewitness who spoke said the individual had witnessed "numerous of our family members being massacred - they were collected in a specific area and everyone killed."

Paramilitary Commanders Attempt to Implement Reputation Management

During the period that followed the atrocity, RSF commander acknowledged that his forces had perpetrated "wrongdoings" and announced the occurrences would be examined.

Among those arrested was after a investigation recording his killings. Deliberately staged and edited footage posted on the militia's authorized Telegram platform depict the commander being escorted into a detention area at a prison on the perimeter of the city.

Meanwhile, the RSF and associated social media profiles started trying to reshape the narrative.

Content presenting its fighters handing out assistance to residents were circulated by various users, while the force's communications team released numerous videos purporting to show the proper management of military detainees.

In spite of the social media campaign being deployed by the paramilitary, their activities in the city have generated worldwide outrage.
