The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, striking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Explorers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
